Great experience and amazing food! My parents chose this location for lunch so I didn't get a chance to look at the menu before hand and was not aware most of the menu items had dairy, however staff were very accommodating of my lactose intolerance. I ordered the Coq & waffle and the chef substituted the buttermilk chicken for grilled chicken and switched the Brioche bun for another waffle. The grilled chicken was very well cooked and juicy. Would definitely reccomend this location

Hands down the best burger place (possibly in the world?). It’s a Chippenham must! Have had many wonderful meals from Coq but last night meant I needed to leave a review. We moved into our new house and their kitchen shuts at 9pm but they kindly cooked the food for us and let us pick it up a little late (just as the last customers were leaving). We were so grateful for this and it made our day! The mac & cheese fries are out of this world & breakfast is amazing too. All staff are so genuine, friendly and passionate which we love. Thank you so much for an always 10/10 meal.

Quite simply, they are the best burgers I've ever eaten. Three visits in, everything about this place oozes quality, love and care. From the welcome you get to the beautiful flavours, textures and all-around taste sensations of the burgers, it's always special. What an absolute gem of a restaurant!

Despite all the brilliant reviews, I had an impression that this would be a slightly cheesy place because of the name and all the ‘coq’ puns. I couldn’t have been more wrong! It’s a very cool, intimate atmosphere with vibey music and lovely staff. The food was incredible - both the veggie and chicken options - and generous portions. We didn’t have room for pudding so took home a little tiramisu, which is also homemade. Super impressed, and we will be regulars - but please please open a branch in Devizes :-)

I've been here a few times with colleagues and we will certainly continue to come here. The restaurant is quite small-- there are two tables with under 20 seats in the restaurant which leads to a cosy intimate vibe. The food is very good-- it is all chicken if you hadn't guessed by the name. What they have done is choose their ingredient and prepare it very well. No matter what I order I end up jealous of what someone else has, its all good! All of the burgers can be made vegetarian with cauliflower replacing the chicken. As a vegetarian, normally I sigh when I see it's just a bit of cauliflower as the meat replacement, but they do a very good job of it here-- I would certainly recommend for vegetarians. It isn't clear that everything can be made vegetarian on the menu, but it can. The guys that run the restaurant are really friendly and are happy to chat. Overall this restaurant are on to a winning formula, and really add something to the food scene in chippenham. Don't forget to finish your meal with the baked goods on the counter.

Just got to say the Gaucho special was the best burger i have ever eaten, and I hope it stays on the menu full time!! always great service, atmosphere and grub

Where to start! Honestly our favourite restaurant in Chippenham, or anywhere right now. Will and the team are fantastic at cooking up delicious food, cold beers, and always a great welcome! Take out or eat in, both are fantastic. Generous portions and great value. Cannot fault this place. Leave room for the tiramisu.
